School Supply List

Supply List – Grade 3 – Miss Hussar

Below is the 3rd grade supply list. This list was sent home at the end of last year. A few supplies have been added to the list. These items are items specific for our class. I realize that you are just hearing about them and it would be appreciated if you sent them to school whenever possible. Keeping additional items at home (especially colored pencils, pencils, and notebook paper is helpful).

* Please label EVERYTHING with your child’s initials and only buy what is on the list as items not included on the list will be returned due to limited desk space.

  • Backpack without wheels
  • Wide-ruled, loose-leaf notebook paper (Put in “School” folder – No binders please because there is not enough room in desks!)
  • TWO subject spiral notebook (Please label one subject “Math” and the other subject “Journal”)
  • TWO folders labeled with clasps and pockets – Plastic Folders last longer and work the best (One Labeled “School Folder” and One Labeled “Poetry Folder”)
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 1 box of baby wipes (antibacterial, if possible)
  • Art Shirt
  • Gym Shoes
  • 5 book covers (no sticky book covers are allowed!) Please use stretchy covers or paper covers
  • 1 carton of Ziploc sandwich size baggies
  • I carton of Ziploc Gallon size baggies
  • Drawing pad (optional)

**Place the following items in a LARGE PENCIL BAG before sending to school:

(Please make sure all items fit in the bag and zipper bags work best due to space)

  • Many sharpened #2 pencils (NO mechanical pencils are allowed).. Please keep at least 4-5 pencils at school at all times!
  • TWO yellow highlighters
  • 12 colored pencils (Again.. space is limited!)
  • Large pencil erasers
  • TWO Dry erase marker (No eraser needed)

**Place the following items in a LARGE PENCIL BAG before sending to school (These items will not be kept at the students’ desks and therefore TWO separate pencil bags are needed)

  • 16 count crayons (No more than 16 because space is limited)
  • 8 fat markers (No more than 8 due to limited space)
  • 8 oz. glue bottle (Regular white Elmers glue works best and no glue stick, please.)
  • Fiskar scissors

**** Throughout the year additional items may be needed. Please look for notes to come home about additional
supplies.
